Programme for Players 13 and over (1996 Y.O.B. or older)
Weekly programmes for up to 36 weeks per year
For players 13 and over there will be 3 programmes, in order to be eligible for funding support from the BTA all players will be required to commit to a minimum training programme, as detailed in Programme 1.
1) FULLER TIME PROGRAMME
6 x 2 Hour Tennis Training (12 Hours) sessions
1 x 1 Sports Psychology session
1 x 1 Fitness Session supervised
1 x 1 Gym Session supervised
3 x ½ Hour Circuits
Fitness programmes as scheduled. Muscular skeletal assessment annually.
Weekly fee before any BTA funding support £184.00
2) FULL TIME PROGRAMME
10 x 2 hours tennis training
5 x half hour circuit training sessions Supervised
3 x Fitness Sessions supervised
1 gym sessions supervised
1x sports psychology session
Fitness programme, gym programme and Muscular skeletal assessment
Weekly fee before any BTA funding support £304.00
Note: programmes will be scheduled based on individual requirements and obtaining ‘smarter’ goals therefore a combination of programme A and B may be incorporated.
3) ACCESS PLAYERS TO THE BTA
Players may access the Academy for any number of squads or activities termly and will be charged the basic rates as outlined in our tariff. Access player’s ability will be assessed for compatibility into squads.
Daily Rates are also available for players accessing the Daytime programme on a non-termly basis. Refer to tariff under daily rates.
